Waterwise:Water Efficiency Conference

Waterwise’s fifth annual water efficiency conference, part of UNESCO’s World Water Day activities, will discuss the future of water efficiency and how to scale it up to ensure thousands of homes across the UK are water efficient. The inaugural networking event will take place at Keble College, Oxford University from 4pm Monday 21 March until 4pm Tuesday 22 March 2010. Delegates will hear from high profile speakers including the Minister for the Marine and Natural Environment, Huw Irranca-Davies MP and Jonathan Porritt, Director of Forum for the Future. Barbara Young Member of the Government’s Climate Change Adaptation Sub-Committee and former CEO of the Environment Agency will give the key note speech at the gala dinner and the drinks reception provides delegates with a valuable opportunity to network. The water efficiency exhibition runs alongside the conference and amongst other things demonstrates new water efficient technologies available for retrofitting water efficiency in the future. The conference is open to anyone interested in water efficiency and has proved to be a valuable event with many delegates attending year after year.
