The
Powerguard PS System automatically manages your auto-start generator, to provide electricity 24/7 at the same time as reducing the need for the generator to run. The PS System uses the surplus power from the generator to charge its battery bank, making the generator more efficient. It then uses the stored DC power in the battery bank to automatically run the inverter to provide pure sine wave 230V AC power when the generator is not running. The reduced need to run the generator reduces fuel, pollution, maintenance and increases generator life.
On a typical mixed load application such as a domestic property where the generator runs all day, the PS System will provide electricity 24/7 with the average generator running significantly less than 30% of the day. Thereby, reducing the fuel and maintenance costs dramatically. If any heavy load is switched on which is greater than the inverter can supply, the PS System will start the generator until the load is switched off.
The sophisticated microprocessors in the PS System can include additional battery charging from renewable electricity generators such as wind turbines, hydro generation systems, or solar photovoltaic (PV) panels. This option offers further fuel saving (carbon reducing) enhancements and results in a reduced need to run the generator.
The Powerguard PS System is the complete solution to providing off-grid power 24/7, in the most efficient way.
Powerguard also provides a fully comprehensive two year no strings attached warranty, for your complete peace of mind.
The systems are manufactured, supplied and installed according to a quality and environmental system registered to: BS EN ISO 9001:2000&BS EN ISO 14001:2004.
